Luke 14: he said: 26 “If
anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children,
brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my
disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry
their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
Today I am thankful for being in the battle.
Standing firm on what I believe and holding to the truth, that Jesus is Lord.
In choosing to follow him, I am thankful to have been blessed by my family and
in the knowledge that God said knows the plans He has for me, declares the
LORD, plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a
future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Therefore 9 Let me
not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time I will reap a harvest if
I do not give up. 10 Therefore, as I have
opportunity, let me do good to all people, especially to those who belong to
the family of believers.(Galatians 6:9-10)
Thank you God for giving the faith and
opportunity to serve you and my family. Thank you for holding me firm in that
faith during this season of change.
